In a unexpected partnership that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
